Freshers' Social organized by Department of Assamese on 21.08.2026

The Department of Assamese, Sapekhati College, organised a Freshers’ Social on 21 August 2026 to warmly welcome the newly admitted students. The programme provided an opportunity for interaction among students and faculty members and fostered a sense of belonging and camaraderie. Various cultural activities and entertaining performances added colour to the occasion.
On the same occasion, the department also organised the inauguration of the Departmental Magazine, showcasing the creative and literary talents of the students. The magazine reflected their interest in Assamese language, literature, culture and contemporary issues. The programme encouraged students to nurture their creativity and actively participate in academic and co-curricular activities. The event concluded with words of appreciation and a vote of thanks.
